FSC Denies Lula Habeas Corpus
On Wednesday (the 4th) in a vote of 6 to 5, the Justices of the Federal Supreme Court denied a request for habeas corpus to former president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in order to stay his imprisonment. The result against the PT Party leader had been expected ever since the 5th vote was cast by Justice Rosa Weber.

BBC News – The British scientist who explained the Universe to millions died peacefully at home aged 76. British astronaut Tim Peake said Prof Hawking “inspired generations to look beyond our own blue planet and expand our understanding of the universe”. He was famed for his work with black holes and relativity.
